Dee R. Eason, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 in Azle.Services: 2:00 P.M. Saturday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: New Hope Cemetery. Mr Eason will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. Saturday until service time at the funeral home.Mr Eason was born November 30, 1926 in Marlow, Oklahoma to the late B.W. and Alice Reedy Eason. He worked at Bell Helicopter for 36 years and 3 months. Mr. Eason was a member of Briar Baptist Church and Boyd Lodge #479. He was Worshipful Master from 1996 to 1997. Mr. Eason was married to Marian New Eason for 59 years, whom he loved and cherished with all of his heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Lavelle, Boyd and Byrel and sister, Rita Bennett.Survivors: wife, Marian; son, Roland D. Eason and wife, Tammy; grandchildren, Shane and wife, Shannon, Kevin and wife, Denise, Joseph Eason, Tricia and Cathy Clayton; great-grandchildren, Meagan, Brieanna, Carley, Brennen and Kaylee; three brothers, Bobby Eason and wife, Robbie, Blanton Eason and wife, Edna, and Bill Eason and wife, Betty and numerous other family members and friends.
