Lori Lynn Howell

Lori Lynn Howell, 38, of Springtown,Texas passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008 surrounded by her family, after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. Lori was born Sept. 15, 1970, in Crystal, Minn. to Barbara and Dennis Miller. She moved to Grand Prairie in 1985, where Lori attended South Grand Prairie High School. She graduated with Honors and received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington. Lori married the love of her life, Billy Scott Howell, on June 15, 1991. They moved to Springtown, Texas, where they raised their two beautiful children Haley Lorin, 11, and Garrett Scott, 8. She was co-founder of Howell & Moore, CPAs in Springtown. Lori loved running and finished many marathons, inspiring countless others. Lori was loved by all, and had many friends and family. She will be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Daughter-in-law, Aunt, Sister and Friend. Lori knew the Lord, was very involved in her church, and had a passion to help with the children. Lori is survived by her loving husband of 17 years Billy, daughter Haley, son Garrett, parents Barbara and Dennis Miller, sisters Brenda and Roxi and their families, mother-in-law Adelene Howell, Billy's sisters and brothers, Vicki, Dionne, Stacy, Mike, Don, Greg and their families.
