Marvin E. Collins

Marvin Eldridge Collins, 76, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2008 in Azle. Memorial service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, october 27, 2008 in White's Azle Chapel. Marvin was born December 22, 1931 in San Antonio to William and Ethel Collins. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Marvin worked as an aide at Azle Manor Nursing Home for several years and had made many friends during his work there. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Mae Messerole, William "Bill" Collins, Louis "Buck" Collins Jr., Fred Collins, Mary Collins, Edna Love, Lucille Collins and Helen Collins. Survivors: loving wife, Gwinn Collins; son, Terry Grozier, daughters, Suzan Grozier and Denice Trimble; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, George Collins; sisters, Ann Pantuso, Carrie Escamilla; and numerous nieces and nephews.
