SPRINGTOWN -- Joyce Lou Hardison, "Memaw" 82, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away in the presence of her family Wednesday, October, 29, 2008. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Reno Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home. Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Walnut Creek Baptist Church, Mens Outreach Ministery. 220 W. Reno Road , Reno, TX. Joyce Hardison was born Oct. 6, 1926 in Mexia, the daughter of Elliott and Lasca Jones. She was a long-time member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and loved to be of service to her church and community. Joyce had a servants heart. Joyce enjoyed good books, good music and good Mexican Food. She was preceded in death by her husband,of 51 years James A. Hardison; baby sister, Alma Baker; baby brother, Elliott M. Jones, Jr. Survivors: son, Elliott Hardison and wife, Jeanne of Weatherford; daughters, Linda Baldwin and husband, Gary of Longview, Judy Hammond and husband, Freddie of Olney; grandchildren, Tina Poer and husband, Kevin, Paul Hardison and wife, Christi, Jerral Baldwin and wife, Dilia, Jennifer Stonecipher and husband, John, Jeremy Hammond and wife, Ginny, Josh Hammond and wife, Amanda, Jim Hammond and wife, Amber; great-grandchildren, David and Lydia Poer, Katie, Mackenzie, Brittney, and Preston Hardison, Savannah, Whitney, Blayne and Reagan Stonecipher, Bayli, Dalton, Mason, Malarie, and Texas Hammond; sisters, Marie Russell of Mexia, Nelda Bruce of Weatherford, and Laneta McClain of Seven Points; and numerous nieces and nephews.
