Poolville -- Mary LaVern Rowney 74, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008 in Fort Worth. Mary was born November 24, 1933 to Sam and Lillie Ibidell Brown Pugh. Mary was a Housewife. Survivors: husband, of 56 years Marion Daniel Rowney; sons, Billy Rowney and wife, Beth, M.D. Rowney and wife Gina, all of Poolville; daughter, Marilyn Johnson and husband Bruce, of Andrews, South Carolina. 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grand children; sister, Shirley Schindler of California. and numerous nieces and nephews Graveside service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home.
