Scott Clark, 47, was united with his Lord and Savior Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Willow Park Baptist Church, 129 S. Ranch House Rd, Aledo. Burial: Annetta Cemetery, Highway 5, North of Airport Road, Annetta. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Memorials: Willow Park Baptist Church has established a Memorial Fund for the family of Scott Clark. The family has requested donations be made to this fund in lieu of flowers to help offset the cost of both medical and burial expenses. Please make memorials payable to WPBC/Scott Clark Memorial Fund. Scott Clark was born May 15, 1961, in Weatherford, the son of Melvin Edward and Shirley Ann Phillips Clark. From the time he got out of bed until the time he laid his head to rest, Scott loved to sing. He lead worship at Willow Park Baptist Church from the time of its inception and was a member of The Willow Park Baptist Church Quartet. Scott also loved sports, especially fishing. In fact, he just took first place in the Christian Bass Fellowship. He never missed a fishing trip with his buddies. Another hobby of Scott's was playing guitar with his son and best friend, Kyle. Scott was a lifetime resident of Weatherford and graduated from Weatherford High School and attended Weatherford College. Scott always had a smile for anyone he met and never said an untoward word about anybody. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Opal Clark and Charlie and Marcel Phillips. Survivors: Wife, Carla Clark; son, Kyle Clark and wife, Halsey; daughter, Kayla Clark and fiancé, Chris Hernandez; soon-to-be-born granddaughter, Daley Scott Clark; parents, Melvin and Shirley Clark; sister, Shana Livingston and husband, Scott; father and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Vicki Carlisle, all of Weatherford; numerous nieces and nephews; a loving church family and host of friends.
