Robert Michael Bozzell

Michael Robert Bozzell passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 in Ft. Worth. A private graveside service was held on Monday, November 24, 2008 at the Newberry Cemetery west of Weatherford. Memorial service: 7:00 p.m. Friday. Dec. 12, 2008 at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Weatherford. Memorials may be given in honor of Michael to, Community Hospice of Texas, 1111 Summit Ave., Ft. Worth, TX 76102, phone 817-870-9995 Michael was born April 2, 1958 in El Paso. He graduated from Midland Lee High School and earned a B.S. degree from the University of Texas in Arlington. Michael will be remembered for his thoughtfulness and love that extended to family and friends. He penned many clever and witty stories and poems that touched our hearts. He wrote the poem "The Wonder" recapping happy times at a Taos, New Mexico family ski vacation that was read at the burial service. Not long ago, Michael fulfilled one of his greatest desires, a European adventure. His joy was shared with family and friends. Michael Robert Bozzell was preceded in death by his father, Dr. James Donald Bozzell, mother, Doris Louise Bozzell; brother, James Wilson Bozzell; and nephews, James Wilson Bozzell, Jr. Michael is survived by his sister, Carol Bozzell Teegarden and husband, Kirk; brothers, John Sturges Bozzell and wife, Dannette, Thomas Ford Bozzell and wife, Pam, and Mark Edward Bozzell; nieces, Catherine, Sarah and Elyse; nephews, Matthew, Blake, and Ryan; and his loving partner, Ernie.
