Vada "Nana" Cook Hall, 86,a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Azle.Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 4 in Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Vada was born December 13, 1921 in Mena, Arkansas. She was a lifetime member of the First Methodist Church of Azle. Vada was a former owner of the Red Top Cafe in Azle. She spent her life taking care of her family and caring for her garden. Vada was preceded in death by her first husband, John Cook, second husband, Loyce Hall, two brothers and three sisters.Survivors: sons, John Cook, Jr. and wife, Shelly of Azle and George Cook and wife, Stephanie of Keller; daughter, Sandra Cornett and husband, David of Azle; grandchildren, David Brad Cornett, Casey Cook, Shanda Portales, Kelli Cook and Sarah Cook; great-grandchildren, Austin Portales, Madison Portales and Camryn Portales; and special mother to Ricardo Basoria and Noah Howeth.
