Rodney Lee Hull, 68, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at his home in Azle.Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle.Rodney Lee Hull was born Dec. 2, 1940, in Fort Worth, son of the late Julius Ralph Hull of Fort Worth and Oval Lorene Mentor Hull Harris of California. He attended Samuels High School in Dallas and Grapevine High School. Rod honorably served his country in the United States Air Force from 1959 until his retirement in 1980. After his retirment from the Air Force, Rod joined Lockheed as senior editor for technical publications and retired in 2003.Rod loved to fish and play pool and was what Mary called a "fair weather" golfer, turning down his last chance to play a round with his friends because it was too cold. He had a very good sense of humor. Survivors: wife of 48 years, Mary Hull of Azle; sons, Glenn Hull and Steve Bryant of Burkburnett, Darren Hull and Sheila of Rogersville, MO.; daughters, Lori Page and George, and Sherri Pardue all of Azle; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-grandson on the way; brothers, Jerry Hull and Wanda of Fort Worth and Ronnie Hull and Donna of Granbury; sister, Pat Ajoin and T.K. of Fort Worth; brother, Gary Harris of FL.; step-mother, Leola Hull of Lake Worth; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of loving friends.
