Allon Wendell Chappell, 47, died December 12, 2008 in Decatur.He was born December 8, 1961 in Comanche to Wendell Owen Chappell andBarbra Lane Young. Allon graduated from Haltom High School. In 1980 hejoined the U.S. Army and served his country for four years. Allon wasvery outgoing and always a joy to be around.Survivors: Daughters, Amber Richardson and husband, Kenneth of Mexia andMiranda Chappell of Lake Worth; sister, Diane Blackwell and husband, Jeffof Ingleside;and grandchildren, Daniel and Kailey.
