Virgie M. Green

Virgie M. Green, 83, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2008 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday in White's Azle Chapel. Entombment: Azleland Moseleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Virgie was born August 7, 1925 in Oklahoma to Ben and Amanda Walters. She was a retired 2nd grade school teacher, who taught for 20 years with the Fort Worth ISD at Carol Peake Elementary School. Virgie was preceded in death by her husband, Bill G. Green and several brothers and sisters. Survivors: sons, Billy Green and wife, Donna of Azle, and Dusty Green of Fort Worth; daughter, Linda Akins of Caladega, New York; 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Phillips of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
