Bonnie Louise Hill Culwell, beloved sister, mother, aunt,grandmother and great-grandmother passed away early Saturday Morning, January 3, 2009 at her home in Springtown. Graveside Service: 2:30 P.M. Monday, January 5 in Springtown Cemetery. Memorials: In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude Hospital. Bonnie was born December 18, 1927 to Ann and Albert Lee Hill in Fort Worth. She was third of four children. Bonnie graduated from Paschal High School in 1946. She was a teller for the Continental National Bank for twenty-one years. In 1950 she met the love of her life, Dr. W. A. Culwell, a promising young chiropractor. They were to have fifty wonderful years together. She helped him build a successful practice and a lucretive business. Bonnie served in the Chiropractic Wives Auxillary and together they traveled the world for their conventions. Their favorite vacation spot was the Gulf Coast where they deep sea fished with friends. After she retired from the family business, she and her husband built their dream home in Springtown on the family farm. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, "Dub", sister, Juanita Harris and niece Virginia Harris. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Tom Hill; sister, Fran Hill; special niece, Julie Overstreet and her sons, Jeffrey and Daniel; daughter, Martha Culwell (Cleta); son R. L. Culwell (Linda); grandson, Bryan Culwell (Lauren) granddaughter, Mallorie Culwell; great-grandson, Caleb Culwell; dear friends and caregiver, Sharon Cate and Kelly Rickett and their family;and large extended family. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Marshall Morrison for his kindness and care, Dr. Robert Moss and staff of Moss Rehab. and the nurses of Main Street Homecare for their care and support.
