Thurman Hoover, Jr., 59, loving husband and father, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 5, 2009 in Dallas. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Jan 8th at Outreach of Love Church. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wed. at White's Azle Funeral Home.Thurman was born in Matador to Thurman W. and Ermal Hoover. He was raised in Lubbock. Thurman worked for Southwest A/C and Plumbing and was a member of Outreach of Love Church in Springtown. He was preceded in death by his father.Survivors: wife, Debbie Hoover; children, Kirk Hoover of Watauga, Kelly Hoover and wife, Jennifer of Overland Park, Kansas, Clayton Hoover of Watauga, Karen Hoover of Lubbock and Morgan Hoover of Bowie; mother, Ermal Hoover; stepchildren, Brandon and Dayton Rogers both of Fort Worth, Melissa Frost and husband, Tommy of Bowie, Brittany Gentry and Haley Kiser both of Fort Worth; brothers, David and Max Hoover; sister, Thurma Davis and seven grandchildren.
