Ann Applegate Horsley

Ann Applegate Horsley, 86, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2009. Services: 2:00 p.m. Friday at White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Community Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Ann was born June 11, 1922 the daughter of the late G. R. and Evaline Tumlin in Quail, the youngest of seven children. She was a very sweet and loving woman. Ann had been a resident of Azle since 1982. Mrs. Horsley was a member of the Methodist Church. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, J. N. Horsley; son, Donald Glenn Applegate; daughter, Paula Messick; all her brothers and sisters; and her parents. Survivors: sons, Ronald Lynn Applegate, Troy Applegate and wife, Brenda, Roy Dee Applegate; daughter, Teddie Tate; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
