Ginger Ann Rose

August 12, 1957 — January 14, 2009

SPRINGTOWN -- Ginger Rose, 51, a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and best friend, left the pain and suffering of cancer behind to be with her Lord on Wednesday Jan. 14, 2009. Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, January 16 in Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Ginger was born on August 12, 1957. She was baby sister to three big brothers and baby girl to her mother and father. With her outgoing personality she never met a stranger. Ginger had a way of making everyone feel special. In her younger days she was known for her horse racing and dancing. Many trophies were won for both. She considered her son, Cody, her greatest accomplishment, she totally adored him. Ginger was a single mom raising a little boy when she met her husband, Mike, together their family became complete. Ginger believed deeply in Jesus and we take comfort in knowing she is finally at peace in the arms of Jesus. We will miss her love and her laughter, the world is a dimmer place without her. We feel blessed to have had her in our life. Ginger was preceded in death by her father Arnold Williams and her nephew Lee Williams. A light from our family is gone A Voice we love is stilled A place is vacant in our home Which never can be filled We mourn the loss of one We would've loved to keep But God who surely loved her best Has finally made her sleep After a lifetime of her love and joy And laughter to fill our ears God leaves these wonderful memories To help us through our tears. She leaves behind her mother, Virginia Williams; husband, Mike Rose; son, Cody Carter; stepsons, Jesse Shriver, Jamey Rose and wife, Melisha; grandchildren, Brock, Dustin, Destin, and Faith; brothers, Eddie Williams and wife, Pam, Richard Williams and wife, Joan, Mike Williams and wife, Kathy; nieces, Amy,Shelley, Chasity, Mandy,Sheila, Miranda, and Emily;nephews, Scott, Jake, and David Mike, great-neices Miranda, Brianna, Karis, Brieanne, and Ella; great nephews, Colton, E.J.
