Oma Lee Reed

Oma Lee Reed, our beloved mother, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Jan. 16, 2009. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at Ash Creek Baptist Church, 300 S. Stewart St., Azle. Internment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home in Azle. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made in memory of Oma Lee Reed to Texas Health Harris Methodist Foundation to support the Intensive Care Unit at the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Azle. She was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Parker County to Grover and Anna Gilley. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harris Reed; parents, Anna and Grover Gilley; and brothers, Edward and Lloyd Gilley. Survivors: Daughter, Renee Ball and her husband, Melvin; son, Randall Reed and his wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Chriscia Ball Castro and her husband, Isaac, Barret Ball, Andrew Reed, Kendall Reed, Melvin W. Ball and Gina Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Lyla and Jonah Castro, Megan Dahl and Jayden Mitchell; close family friend, Jaime Vines; and many nieces, nephews, loving friends and caregivers.
