Jennifer Leigh Jones, 40, was a kind and gentle soul, who passed through this world much too quickly on January 18, 2009. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at White's Chapel of Memories, 130 Houston Avenue, Weatherford. Jennifer was born May 20, 1968 in Dallas, Texas the daughter of Charles and Susan McDonald. To those who knew and loved her, Jennifer was a sweet and special person, one of a kind. She was a girl with a wicked sense of humor and a lover of practical jokes. Jennifer was a person who never knew a stranger and made everyone she met feel special. She loved the outdoors; fishing was one of Jenny's greatest passions. She truly had a knack for it, often catching the biggest fish. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her two adorable Chihuahua's "tipper and nip". Jennifer frequently brought home strays in her younger days; much to the chagrin of her parents. She had an aura about her, a spirit that drew people to her wherever she went. As many girls do, she loved her daddy with a passion. Her mother was her best friend whose advice she sought regularly. Their time together was treasured by both. Their loss is immeasurable. She had many aunts, uncles and cousins who will miss her deeply. A bright light that shone in our lives has gone out. It now sparkles in heaven with God our Father and his angels. Goodbye sweet child, forty years is much too short a time. Free from the pain and suffering of your illness, you are at peace now, gone from us, but forever in our hearts. Jennifer was preceded in death by her sister, Kim Wehby. Survivors: Mother, Susan Ross; father, Charles McDonald.
