Earline McCloud, 75, a loving wife, mother and "Monnie," passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church in Azle. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Earline was born March 3, 1933, in Fulbright to Sam and Roxie Ramsey. Her whole life was dedicated to giving to people. Earline was a pet lover and one of the loves of her life was Spuds, who she said was her four-legged child. He followed her into heaven. It was a perfect ending for their special relationship. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. People knew her for her wonderful cooking and she shared it with many during the holidays. She and husband, Ben, were owners of McClouds Food stores. Earline was preceded in death by her parents and stepson, Bennie McCloud, Jr. Survivors: Loving husband of 40 years, Ben McCloud; daughter, Becky Edwards of Daingerfield; sons, Greg Woodard and wife, Darlene, Mark Woodard and wife, Carol; stepdaughter, Janet Witter and husband, Dale; sister, Jacqueline Amacker; nephew, Don Amacker; grandchildren, Scott, Marc, Chad, Jill, Kelly, Angie and Brandy; and several great-grandchildren.
