Johnny Bruce May, 63, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Friday at Aledo Church of Christ. Interment: Aledo Brown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Johnny May was born, September 21, 1945 in Barstow, Calif., the son of Alma and Betty May. He was a long time resident of Fort Worth. Johnny enjoyed handy work around the house and he loved movies. He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter; and his brother, Mike. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Marian June May; sons, David Bruce and Richard Lee May, both of Calif.; daughters, Tammy Smets and Terrie Beth Kirkham of Calif., Kytrina Boundy of Arizona, Robin Peters, Tracie Bush and Rebecca Maxwell of Texas; andnumerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in law; sisters, Margaret and Darlene; brother, Pete; and many other family members and friends.
