James Martin

James "Jim" Martin ,81, a loving father and grandfather passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 in Azle. Service: Noon Saturday in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 8:00 A.M. Saturday until service time. Jim was born in Vernon October 24, 1927 to Herschel and Willie Brock Martin. He had lived in the Azle area since 1974. Jim retired from the railroad and had his own automotive business, Martin's Automotive in Azle. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Martin in 2007; and two brothers. Survivors: son, James Martin and wife, Joanne of Lakeside; daughter, Deborah Armstrong and husband, Stephen of Greenwich, Conn.; grandchildren, Leigh Armstrong, Stephen Armstrong, Jonathan Martin and Michal Martin; sister, Verna Spigler; and numerous other relatives and friends.
