Flossie Belle Pearson

PARADISE -- Flossie Belle Pearson, 98, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Aug. 10, 2009, surrounded by her family. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at Cornerstone Community Church, 2233 E. Highway 199, Springtown. Interment: Springtown Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home. Belle Pearson was born May 13, 1911, to James and Martha Young in Potts Camp, Miss. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Springtown. Belle loved gardening, canning vegetables from her garden, crocheting and cooking for her grandchildren and any large group of people. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Roy Lee Pearson, in 1993; and one daughter, Beverly Havner, in 2001. Survivors: Son, Hershel Lee Pearson and wife, Diann; daughter, Darlene Morris, all of Paradise; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nephew, Curtis Dantin; and numerous other family members and friends.
