Bernhard Paul Gundlach

Bernhard Paul "Gunnie" Gundlach, 84, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, August 28, 2009. Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 1 in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: 3:00 P.M. in Rule Cemetery.Paul "Gunnie" was born June 18, 1925, to in Bartlett to Carl and Mary Gundlach. As a young boy the family moved to Rule. Paul was a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church in Azle. He honorably served his country in the United States Army. Paul was a carpenter by trade. He loved and cared for his wife, Dorothy for 62 years, in sickness and health. Paul was loved by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; and son, Danny Gundlach. Survivors: daughter, Paula Gundlach; niece, Teresa Foster granddaughter, Pam McLaughlin and husband, Tom; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
