Charles H. Kegans, 80, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009. Memorial Service: 11:00 am Friday at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to: The Dignity Foundation at Allstar Hospice, 1032 W. Pioneer Pkwy, Suite 200, Arlington, TX 76013. Charles was born June 6, 1929 in Ringling, Okla. to Patrick R. and Marjorie Kegans. He graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City and then served four years in the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force, Charles attended Syracuse University where he studied the Russian language for one year. He received his B.S. Degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University in 1958 and studied law for one year. In 1959 he went to work for G.M.- Pontiac Motor Division in Kansas and Dallas and retired after 27 years. After his retirement, Charles was employed with Bill McDavid Pontiac for a number of years. He was then employed nine years with Americredit Financial. In his leisure time, Charles enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Patrick R. Kegans, Jr. Survivors: wife, Pamela; step-sons, Greg Griffin, Chris Gustafson, and Philip Brawley; and grandchildren, Catherine, Levi, and Avery Mae.
