Jamie Benjamin Stocking

Jamie Stocking, 39, died Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at his home in Azle. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Saturday, September 5 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Azle. Jamie was born August 15, 1970 in Princeton, Illinois to Jerry Keith and Joanne Louise Stocking. He had lived in the Azle area for two years having moved from Mineral Wells. Jamie loved fishing, boating, hunting and all outdoor activities. He honorably served his country in the United States Army Reserves in Iowa, served active duty in Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Iraq. Survivors: father, Jerry Keith Stocking of Mineral, Illinois; mother, Joanne Stocking of Azle; brothers, Jerry Stocking of Spring Valley, Illinois, Gary Stocking of Azle and Michael Stocking of Ohio, Illinois; sisters, Theresa Burnard and husband, Phillip of Perrin, Lisa Stocking of Peoria, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
