SPRINGTOWN -- Goldie Richards Cass, 78, passed away Monday, Oct. 12, 2009, surrounded by family at her residence in Springtown. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Goldie Richards Cass was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Knox County, daughter of the late Emmett and Minnie Lee Moore Richards. Prior to moving to Springtown in 1982, Goldie was a resident of Vinita, Okla. She was an avid crossword puzzle worker and a member of Eastern Star. Goldie retired from Southwestern Bell after many years of dedicated service. She was a member of the Baptist church. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, E.D. Richards; and sisters, Mozell Norris and Irene Schuck. Survivors: Brother, Reese Richards of Springtown; nieces and nephews, Greg Meinzer, Pam Meinzer, Debbie Erickson, Linda Hays, Teri Evans, and Kelly Millican; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family.
