Velma Jean Owen, 53, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 19th in White's Mineral Wells Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. Velma was born October 15, 1955 in Mineral Wells to Naymond and Louise Stover Hatfield. She was a lifelong resident of Mineral Wells. Velma loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother; and granddaughter, Christi. Survivors: husband, Michael Owen of Mineral Wells; daughters, Devin, Becky, April and Stephanie; sons, Russell and Nick; grandchildren, Damien, Jakob, Brayden, Erika, Jennifer and Andrea; sister, Carolyn Doane and husband, Dan, Sherry Riddle and husband, Carl; brother, James Hatfield; and numerous other relatives, friends and acquaintances.
