Jack Harold Adams

Jack Harold Adams passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at a local nursing facility after a long illness. Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday at Brock United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the Adams family request donations may be made to Brock United Methodist Church Building Fund, 127 Lazy Bend Road, Brock, TX 76087. Jack was born February 11, 1929 in Fort Worth to Joe and Lela Mae Cavett Adams. He graduated from Technical High School in Fort Worth, class of 1947. Jack worked in sales for more than 35 years; retiring from Penland Distributors in 1986. He loved camping and enjoyed traveling all over the United States with his wife in their travel trailer. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; stepdaughter, Cheryl McFadin; and stepson, Dr. Charles Moughon. Survivors: wife of 33 years, Barbara Wells Adams; sons, Lane and wife, Kathy, Joe and wife, Nikki; stepson, Craig Moughon; daughter, Kathy Delira and husband, Fred; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Reta Haynes, Pat Adams and husband, Shelby, Charlotte Frazier and husband, Ken; sisters-in-law, Bobbye Huntsucker and husband, Clayton, Joye Rogan and Gayle Bevers; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
