Evadeen Thomas

Evadeen Thomas, 98, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, passed away Monday, November 2, 2009, in Bedford. Services: 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009 at South Main Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Hill Cemetery. Visitation: 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Thursday at the Church. Evadeen Thomas was born January 19, 1911 in Peaster, the daughter of Charles and Esther Morris. She married Morris Thomas May 8, 1934 in Weatherford. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include, sons, Jim Thomas and wife, Shirley, Don Thomas and wife, Ingrid, Gary Thomas and wife, Carol; daughter, Joan Custer and husband, Guy; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Morris and wife, Jean; and a host of loving friends and family.
