Kathryn Marie Croney

Kathryn Croney, 51, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, Nov. 6, 2009. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Funeral Home. Kathryn was born Sept. 5, 1958, the daughter of James and Virginia Walton in Oak Harbor, Wash. She moved from Grapevine and had lived in the Weatherford area for 10 years. Mrs. Croney was a member of Christ the King Covenant Church. She graduated from North Texas University and Texas Christian University. Kathryn had been a teacher for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Tommy Walton; and sister, Debbie Walton. Survivors: Her husband, Lee; mother, Virginia Walton; sons, Kyle Harding and Connor Croney; daughter, Kimberley Zielinski and husband, Justin; brother, Jimmy Walton; sisters, Linda Ewing and Joyce McLeod; grandchildren, Zane and Zara Zielinski; several nieces and nephews; and many other loving church members and friends.
