Frances Lorene Jackson, 96, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Azle.Funeral Service: 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 11 at the First United Methodist Church of Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Interment: Azleland Cemetery.Frances Lorene Jackson was born April 23, 1913 in Okemah, Oklahoma to the late Frank and Myrtle Andrews. She had lived in the Azle area for 50 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Azle. Lorene and her husband, Martin owned and operated the Redwood Motel in Azle for a number of years. She was a wonderful seamstress and loved to quilt. Lorene was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Martin E. Jackson in 1976.Survivors include her son, Erman Jackson and wife, Ann of Weatherford; daughter, Glenda Ortego of Azle; sons, Eddie Jackson and wife, Paulette of Stephenville and Lonnie Jackson and wife, Teri of Red Oak; grandchildren, Debra Greenway and husband, James of Weatherford, Darla Criswell and husband, Phil of Granbury, Deryll Jackson of Weatherford, Angela Thorne of DeRidder, LA.,Brian Jackson of Plano, Stacy Boenisch and husband, Keith of Azle, and Vicki Board and husband, James of Red Oak, Zachary Jackson of Red Oak and Shane Phillips of Round Rock; great-grandchildren, Kyle Thorne, Jessica Criswell, Matthew Criswell, Lacy Criswell, Nathan Criswell, Kodi Bailey, Kehler Boenisch, and Ryner Boenisch; sister, Mary Robertson of Bryan and Ruth Walker and husband, H.O. of Abilene; brother, Fred Andrews and wife, Vonnie of Lubbock.
