Larry Vincent Vernia

Larry Vincent Vernia, 69, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 at his residence in Azle. Inurnment: will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at a later date. Larry was born August 6, 1940 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Vincent Woodrow and Thelma Blodgett Vernia. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. Larry dearly loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include, his loving wife, Pat Vernia of Azle; mother, Thelma Blodgett Vernia; children, Catherine Perrier, Daniel Vernia, Mark Vernia, Robert Griffin, Dianne Meinerts, Kwin Smith and Carmen Houck; fourteen grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Barbara, Vianna and Valerie; brothers, Terry and Stephen Vernia; also survived by many friends and acquaintances.
