Frank McQueary, 85, went peacefully to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at his home. Graveside services: 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Memory Gardens of the Valley. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m., Friday at White's Funeral Home. Frank McQueary was born January 25, 1924 in Dallas. He was a long time resident of Mineral Wells and Weatherford. Frank, a very accomplished man, was an All-American Athlete at Mineral Wells High School and attended Baylor University in Waco. He was just recently honored and inducted into the Mineral Wells H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame. Mr. McQueary served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy during World War II and retired from General Dynamics after 30 years. With all his interests and accomplishments, the most important thing in Frank's life was his family and the love of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 58 years, Helen McQueary; brothers, Arthur McQueary and C.W. McQueary; and sister, Marie Carter. Survivors: sons, Frank McQueary II of Fort Worth, Charles McQueary and wife, Judi of Southlake; grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, and Meredith; niece, Annette Martin Lamb; and a host of loving family and friends.
