Elsie Dean Lunsford

Elsie Dean Lunsford, loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother, passed into the arms of the Saviour, Monday, November 23, 2009, at the age of 73, at her home.Graveside service: 2 p.m. Friday in Annis Chapel Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at White's Funeral Home in Springtown.Elsie was born February 3, 1936, in Fort Worth, to Minnie Lamance Melugin and the late Edgar Bivens. She was a life long resident of the Springtown area. Elsie loved to grow flowers and spend time with her beloved dog, Coco. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and a long time member of the Assembly of God Church.Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Lunsford in 1999; by her father, Edgar Bivens in 1969; and her brother, Jerry Clayton.Survivors include daughter, Kanetha Dianne Hicks and husband, Ardy of Roanoke, sons, Leon Lunsford and wife, Paula of Springtown, Keith Lunsford of Fort Worth and Kevin Lunsford of Springtown; grandchildren, Tiffany Brown and husband, Robert, Heather Bell and husband, Brandon, Mallory Lunsford, Michael Lunsford, Kris Lunsford and wife, Lynn, Krystal Lunsford, Kimberly Lunsford, Autumn Lunsford and Doyle Lunsford; great-grandchildren, Carson Brown, Maci Bell, Dylan Waddle, Kyle Lunsford and Kamron Lunsford; mother, Minnie Melugin; sister, Billie Haynes; brother, Harold Wayne Clayton and a host of loving family and friends.
