Nellie Gertrude Waddle

Springtown -- Nellie G. Waddle, 85, passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2009. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home. Interment: Springtown Cemetery Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. Nellie Waddle was born December 31, 1923 to Charles and Effie Wright in Piketon, Ohio. She was a long time resident of Springtown and a devoted member of the First Baptist Church. Nellie helped establish the "Clothes Closet", which later evolved into the "Neighbors to Neighbors". Nellie loved sewing, quilting, and taking care of her rose garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, and three children. Survivors: loving daughter, Linda Guisinger; grandchildren, Earl, Cindy, and Andy: granddaughter- in-laws Tonya and Stephanie; 8 great-grandchildren; 7 brothers and sisters; numerous friends and acquaintances.
