Bob Giles, 71, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 in Azle. Funeral Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 29 in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Azleland Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at White's Azle Funeral Home.Bob was born July 30, 1938 to the late James Paul and Lois McElroy Giles in Ocmulgee, Oklahoma.He had lived in Azle for the past two years as his job kept his family moving. He and wife, Sheila had been married for 17 years. Bob was a Christian and loved Jesus. He also liked hunting and fishing with Caleb, his fourteen year old son.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Paul Giles, Jr.; sons, Robert Edward Giles, Jr. and Sam Giles.Survivors: wife, Sheila Giles of Azle; children, Carol Shaver and Debbie Lynn Giles of N.C., Roy Eugene Giles of Detroit, Vernon Lee Giles of Colo., William Robert Giles of Maine and Caleb Joshua Giles of Azle; step-children, CaSaundra Shockley of Ga., Cynthia Debler of Baytown, Hope Stein and Christopher Stein both of Azle; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and numerous loving friends.
