Grover Selmar Hembree

Grover S. Hembree, 81, a retired construction worker/heavy equipment operator, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 4, 2010. Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m., Friday East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at White's Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Grover Hembree was born June 3, 1928 in Cherokee County Georgia. He was a very special person to his friends and family. Grover loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors: wife, Judy Hembree; son, Ronnie Hembree and companion, Eileen Jackson and her grandchildren, William, Ty and Ashlyn Pierson; step-sons, David, Jimmy and Kenneth Elser; brother, Hoke Hembree; grandchildren, Deborah Beene and fiance', Roger Grizzle, Kelly Hembree; step-grandchildren, Mindi, Gary, Shawn, and Dusty Elser, and Anthony Morofsky; and great-granddaughter, Mandi Beene.
