Tommie Lee Hopper

Tommie Lee Hopper, 88, a masonry contractor, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010. Service: 1 p.m. Saturday in White's Chapel of Memories. Interment: Poe Prairie Cemetery. Visitation: noon to 1 p.m. Saturday. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A Place For Grace, 100 Christopher Court, Weatherford, Texas 76086. Tommie was born Sept. 6, 1921, to Earnest and Nell Hopper in Madil, Okla. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Mr. Hopper was a member of Ridglea West Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow and John Calvin. Survivors: Wife, Dorothy Nevil Hopper; son, Michael and wife, Linda; sisters, Faye Payne, Francis Kiser and Betty Kyees; brother, Earnest; granddaughter, Melissa Rodriguez; grandson, Brent and wife, Angie; great-grandchildren, Josh and Madison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
