Joe C. Wyler

Longtime Fort Worth resident, Joe C. Wyler passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, in Fort Worth. Joe Wyler was a graduate of Brock High School, Weatherford College, and North Texas State Univeristy. He was a former Fort Worth police officer and employee of Tandy Corp. Mr. Wyler served in the US Army during the Korean War. He loved to dance and was a member of the Olive Branch Lodge #792 where he received his fifty year pin last year. Mr. Wyler was preceded in death by his parents, G. W. and Rena Pilkington Wyler; two sisters; and an older brother. Survivors include brother, Wayne Wyler and wife, Marian, of Weatherford; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, in East Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
