SPRINGTOWN -- James S. Collins Jr., 57, a longtime resident of Springtown,passed away Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, surrounded by family at home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday At White's Funeral Home, 401 North MainStreet, Springtown. Interment: Jaybird Cemetery, Jaybird Lane,Springtown. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. James Samuel Collins Jr. was born May 16, 1952, in Glasgow, Ky, sonof James Samuel and Laura Jeanetta Jesse Collins. James wasinvolved in trucking activities and was an owner/operator of hisown truck. He also worked as a mechanic for many years. James likedto spend his free time outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing. Survivors: Son, James S. Collins III and wife, Stacy, of Saginaw;daughter, Kimberly S. Collins of Springtown; grandchildren, Taylor,Dakota, Shelby and Cayden Collins; father, James S. Collins Sr. andwife, Edra "Bobbie Nell", of Kentucky; mother, Laura J. Collins ofWeatherford; siblings, Judy L.
