Laura Jeannetta Collins, 78, passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 in Weatherford. Service: 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at White's Springtown Funeral Home.Interment: Jay Bird Cemetery Visitation: 7 to 9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Laura was born August 31, 1931 in Iran, KY. to the late Shelton and Pearl England Jessee. She was a longtime resident of Springtown. Laura was an avid traveler and NASCAR fan. She was a World Champion wrestler; known as "Bambi Ball" the Kentucky Wildcat. Laura was always taking in strays. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, James. Survivors: daughter, Judy Snider and husband, Thomas of Watauga; sister, Irene Tate of KY.; grandchildren, Troy, Jeremy, Andra, James and Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Mariah, Dakota, Shelby, Nick and Cayden; and numerous other relatives and friends.
