Marie Cozette Smith

Cozette Smith, 56, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at her residence with her family by her side. Service: 2:00 P.M. Monday, Feb. 22 in White's Azle Chapel. Interment: Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday at White's Azle Funeral Home. Cozette was born March 7, 1953 in Fort Worth to Woodrow H. and Mary Frances Stroud. She was a longtime resident of Azle. Cozette loved her family and loved walking in the country. She was preceded in death by her father, Woodrow Henry Stroud; and son, Jackie Harrison Smith. Survivors: husband of 37 years, Joe David Smith; son, Joe Preston and wife, LeAnn; daughters, Angell Myres and husband, Stephen, and Brandi Sage and husband, Desmend; grandchildren, Zade, Gatlyn, Evalee, Lukasjames, Jackie, Chyanne, Dylan and Blaze; mother, Mary Francis Stroud; sisters, Geneva Putman and husband, Don, and Lynette Parkins; brother, Woodrow Stroud; and many nieces,nephews and many friends.
