Bobby L. Thatcher

Bob Thatcher, 79, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 in Azle. Graveside Service: 1:30 P.M. Thursday at Ash Creek Cemetery, Azle. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, March 17 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Bob was born April 27, 1930 in Texarkana, Ark. to Allen S. and Anna Mae Woods Thatcher. He had lived in the Azle area since 1965. Bob owned and operated Bob Thatcher's Salvage Yard. He had a passion for old cars. Bob was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: wife of 36 years, Ona Thatcher; children, Terry Thatcher and wife, Mary of Granbury, Chris L. Thatcher and wife, Ellen of Fort Worth, Angela Wright and husband, Jimmy of Granbury and Vada Baird of Azle; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Powell; brothers, Jimmy and Merle Thatcher; and many other family members and friends.
