Reese lawton Richards

SPRINGTOWN -- Reese "Preacher" Richards, 81, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010, surrounded by family at home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at White's Funeral Home, 401 North Main St., Springtown. Reese Lawton Richards was born March 21, 1929, in Vera, son of the late Emmett Guy and Minnie Lee Moore Richards. Reese honorably served his country and was stationed in Germany. He loved to play dominoes. Reese was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mozell, Irene, and Goldie; and brother, E.D. Survivors: Daughters, Linda and husband, Bill, of North Carolina, and Teri and Scott of Waxahachie; granddaughter, Melanie; grandsons, Christopher, Jordon, and Joshua; two very special friends and caretakers, Mildred Dobbs and Debbie Kidd; nephew, Greg; nieces, Pam, Debi, and Kelly; and a host of loving family and friends.
