Kathleen Hopkins

Kathleen Hopkins, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2010, in Millsap. Funeral: 1 p.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 105 Denver Trail, Azle. Burial: Boyd Cemetery, Arbor Avenue and Cemetery Road, Boyd. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Kathleen Hopkins was born Jan. 25, 1936, in Italy, daughter of the late John and Ina Pool Hopkins. She and her twin sister, Aliene, were the fourth and fifth of 13 children. Kathleen loved her family very much and reading her Bible was her number one hobby. Kathleen also liked embroidery and sewing in addition to her word find puzzles. Kathleen was preceded in death by her son, Terry Salter in 2008; daughter, Debbie Stocks in 2006; grandson, Shane Neal; great-grandson, Neil; parents; and six brothers and sisters. Survivors: Sons, Glenn Neal of Millsap, Roger D. Salter and wife, Theresa, of Millsap, John Salter and wife, Beverly, and James Salter and wife, Estell, all of Stephenville; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six brothers and sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of loving family and friends.
