Joyce Drain Kirby

Joyce Drain Kirby, 76, passed into the arms of Jesus Wednesday, May 12, 2010 surrounded by her family. Funeral Service: 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 15 at The First Baptist Church of Castle Hills, 401 Beverly Rd., Azle. Interment: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, May 14 at White's Azle Funeral Home. Joyce Drain Kirby was born July 1, 1933 to Toy Thomas and Mattie Mae Drain in Newark. She was very active in her church, The First Baptist Church of Castle Hills. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, P. D. Kirby in 1999; three brothers and four sisters. Survivors: son, Raymond Cobb and wife, Kathy of Azle; daughters, Doris Barley and Sherry Lehr and husband, Donnie all of Azle; grandchildren, Tracy Machado, Ashley Cobb, Lindsay Cobb, Kimberly Heath, Marshall Lehr, and Donald Lehr; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bennie Drain; and several loving nieces, nephews and friends.
