Oma Mildred Bobo

Long time Springtown resident, Oma Mildred Bobo, 100, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Grapevine. Funeral: 11:00 am Saturday, May 29, 2010 at White's Funeral Home Chapel, Springtown. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Interment: Cottondale Cemetery in Cottondale. Oma was born March 4, 1910 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Charles and Dora Romine. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Oma was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Lester R. Bobo, Sr. on May 27, 2000, and son, Delbert Bobo on November 20, 1995. Survivors: sons, John A. Bobo and wife, Sarah of Blue Mound, Bobby R. Bobo and wife, Frances of Bedford, Lester R. Bobo, Jr. and wife, Wanda of Hurst, and Roy J. Bobo and wife, Rachel of Palmer and Charles T. Bobo of Azle; daughter, Jessie M. Bills of Springtown; sister, Jessie Doss of Denton; 18 Grandchildren; 28 Great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
