PARADISE -- Myrtle Sanders, 91, went to be with the Lord, Sunday June 6, 2010. Service: 1:30 p.m., Wed., June 9, 2010 at White's Funeral Home. Interment: Truce Cemetery Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Myrtle was Born March 8, 1919 to James and Fredonia Hayes Long in Jack County. She was a long time resident of Fort Worth and White Settlement. Myrtle was always taking in stray animals which she loved. She was also a great cook and gardener. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.J.; son; grandson; four brothers; and a sister. Survivors: daughter, Velma Rucker and husband, Roy of Paradise; daughter-in-law, Bea Murdock and husband, Todd of Haltom City; granddaughter, Robin Lance and husband, Gregory of Paradise; grandson, Elbert James Sanders Jr.; great-granddaughters, Heather, Ashley, and Courtney; great-greatgrandson Lucas; brother, Edgar Long; sister-in-law, Pauline Long; life time friend Ada Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
