Anthony William Pettigrew

Anthony William Pettigrew, 68, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2010 in Azle. Memorial Service: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 24 in White's Azle Chapel. Anthony was born March 25, 1942 in Weatherford to Jady and Katie Pettigrew. He was a longtime resident of Azle. Anthony was an avid fisherman and enjoyed leather work. He loved hummingbirds and bird watching. Anthony honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors: daughters, Kim Gaskins and husband, Jimmie of Forestburg, Lorri Newsom and husband, Tommy of Arlington, and Allyson Parrish and husband, Randall of Azle; seven grandchildren; and was eagerly awaiting the birth of two great-grandchildren in August and October; also survived by three brothers and two sisters.
