He was a longtime resident of Parker County. Red was an avid race horse breeder and trainer. He was also a retired truck driver for ICX Motor Freight. Red was an endowed member of the Joplin Masonic Lodge 939.He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one grandson.Survivors: Wife of 57 years, Evelyn Teal of Weatherford; son, Sammy Teal and wife, Donna; daughter, Ann Eustace and husband, Fred; son, Richard Teal and wife, Dana; and daughter, Lisa White all of Fort Worth; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; many friends and acquaintances.
