MINERAL WELLS -- Ricky Lee Medlin, 55, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010, at his home in Mineral Wells. Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday at White's Funeral Home, 101 N.E. 4th Ave., Mineral Wells. Burial: Palo Pinto Cemetery. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at White's Funeral Home. Ricky Lee Medlin was born June 10, 1955, in Mineral Wells, son of Forest Pete Medlin Jr. and Nora Lee Thompson Medlin Barnum. He graduated with the class of 1975 from Mineral Wells High School and honorably served his country in the National Guard in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Ricky liked the outdoors and motorcycles. At the time of his death, Ricky was taking care of his mother. Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Forest Medlin Jr.; and grandmother, Margaret Moore Medlin. Survivors: Daughter, Kristie Hayes and husband, Andrea, of Fort Worth; son, Jeremy Medlin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Cameron and Sarah; mother, Nora Barnum of Mineral Wells; sister, Kathy Davis and husband, Dave, of Fort Worth; nephews, Robert, Jason, David, and Mark; cousin, Mark Medlin of Mineral Wells; and a host of loving family and friends.
